shelfporn for Monday morn(ing)

I love seeing photos of other people's book collections, especially authors I love.

And so, Neil Gaiman's library, courtesy of Shelfari.

I would love to read this. :) My favorite pet related story is my Mom's cat Tee-tee who died a long time ago, well she went missing for almost a year. We all figured she had been ran over, and my Mom ended up moving, and went back to go and get a few things from her old place, and there was the cat sitting on the front steps outside waiting for her. She had found her way home, and got there in time to make the move. :)

I would love to read this book! It sounds awesome! I love animals and I remember the day we got my childhood dog. He was a cocker spaniel that someone had dumped off beside my grade school. My mother was a 1st grade teacher there. Since the day was very warm and there was no AC at our school, the windows were open. My dog jumped into the classroom! 30 1st graders scrambled around to play with him!! We tried to find his owner to no avail and so he became my dog.We had him for about 16 years! Best dog I ever had!

I don't have a particular memory but every day that we had our dog was special. We got him when I was 11 and had hm for 11 years. He was a part of not only our family, but the whole neighborhood. Everyone knew him by name and little kids used to come to our door and ask if he could come out to play.
